Our vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive and connected school community where everyone belongs and every child is known, valued and supported to thrive. Acknowledgement of Country
Benton Junior College acknowledges the Bunurong People, the traditional owners of the land on which we meet, learn and play. We pay our respect to the Elders past, present and emerging.
'The theme of this mural shows the strong community that Benton Junior College has created and continues to grow. The bottom section is representative of the beach and shoreline, embracing the community of the peninsula, and the children’s love of nature. The mid section shows 8 rocks with meeting places in each, representing each year level at BJC, and the students that may have left the school, but will forever be apart of the BJC community. The orange journey lines and meeting places symbolise the families that are supported in the community and how their contributions make the school flourish. The top section represents the staff, looking out for everyone and fostering a love of learning within the students, and safety within the entire school community.'
